Extremely pleasant and friendly service from start to finish. They were helpful and informative.. Loading and unloading was very efficient. Long Line through Customs but it went quickly. Lots of nice people to share your time with.
Good trip but stressful boarding

The trip was wonderful- comfortable seating, food and drink available, pleasant staff. The only glitch was that we were unaware we needed to fill out an ArriveCAM E before boarding. I would say half the people boarding had not prepared it. The staff helped us to download and complete it and were helpful, but it would have been less stressful for so many of us if it would have been made very clear in the confirmation that the form was necessary to board.
The staff said there was a one line reference in the email but we missed it completely.
VIP Comfort Class on Clipper Aug 2022

We paid the extra $100 pp for VIP Comfort Class passage on the Clipper ferry for trip to Victoria and Butchart Gardens. It includes boarding first and window seats on the upper deck. In this area there is a coffee/latte machine with free snacks (pretzels, Tim’s potato chips, trail mix, juice drinks) in Comfort Class. There was a steward that came through and would take orders for drinks, and bakery items for purchase from the galley. Our ship was only about half full, but I can see where this would be an convenience advantage if the galley was busier. Finally, the Comfort class was located in the forward part of the ship and noticeably quieter for a quick nap in the reclining seats.
Interesting trip

We joined almost as a overhead jump, having been delayed at the airport. We tried this route, mainly because the only transfer to Vancouver Island that day was on a flight departing at around 2200 hrs. Missing the ferry would have meant a night in Seattle. The ferry has plenty of seating, though it is rather basic. The journey itself is swift, but the immigration process on arrival in Victoria is slow, and the facilities for passengers waiting are very basic (no seats, and outside queues!
